Toshiba 1E fault code
Toshiba air conditioning
What the Toshiba 1E fault code means, from the manufacturer's own service literature, and the UK models it applies to.
What it means
Block 03. TD has exceeded 117 °C. The manual's order of checks: TD sensor, then the refrigerant amount, then the PMV, then anything else raising compressor temperature.
Safety: Discharge pipework runs very hot — allow to cool.

Now the harder half: proving what caused it
1E names a symptom, not a root cause. In the app, the same code opens a guided investigation: what to measure first, the expected values for your exact model, and an honest verdict — including “nothing in this machine is broken” when that's what the readings say.
