Questions
Do I have to fill the register in by hand?
No. Gas added and recovered on a job goes on the register by itself, against that unit.
How is tCO₂e worked out?
Charge in kg × the gas's GWP ÷ 1000. The same sum as the free leak check calculator.
How does it know when a leak check is due?
From the tCO₂e. From 5 t, at least every 12 months; from 50 t, every 6; from 500 t, every 3. A leak detection system doubles the interval. The next due date prints on the register and shows on To do as 'Leak check due'.
Can I export it?
Yes, as a CSV. On a phone it opens the share sheet; on a laptop it downloads. You can print it too.
Is any of it free?
The F-Gas leak check calculator is free with no account: gas and charge in, tCO₂e and check frequency out. The register itself is Pro.
